Our most delicious tradition!

      In 2008, Girl Scouts of Broward County welcomed two brand new cookies to our annual program activity....the sugar-free CHOCOLATE CHIPS and delicious LEMON CHALET CREMES! Our six other irresistible cookies include: Thin Mints, Tagalongs, Trefoils, Samoas, Do-Si-Dos and All Abouts...with a brand new shape! 
     But these great cookies do much more than entice the palate. They enable Girl Scouts to learn life skills such as goal setting, money management, and teamwork -- while allowing customers to purchase a great product and support girls in their own community.
     Girl Scouts, from Brownie-age-level on up, plan their yearly adventures based on what they expect to earn from troop dues, money earning activities and the annual Cookie Sale Program.
     Once girls, with the help of their leaders, decide what they want to do, they begin to set goals and estimate costs as they explore their options.
     Girls walk away from the Cookie Sale Program with some of the best memories of their Girl Scout years, and even better ~ they take with them the beginnings of business skills and an understanding of what true teamwork can build.
