Girl Scouts Make Movie History! Lock-In sets the stage for “reel” fun

     Boca Raton, FL --- Sunrise Cinemas at Mizner Park sets the stage for Girl Scouts as they make movie history with “Movie Mania” – a first time event all-girl, all-night movie marathon. Girls can hop from movie to movie within the three levels and eight theaters at Sunrise Cinemas on November 10 from 10 p.m. - 5:30 a.m. (November 11).
     
     Sunrise Cinemas is open exclusively to Girl Scouts for this event. More than 500 Girl Scouts, between the ages of 5-17, are already registered to attend the “Movie Mania” lock-in with their Leaders. Budding film students and future Academy Award winners will enjoy a rotating selection of twelve films rated G, PG and PG-13. This event is designed to be a safe environment for girls to have a unique overnight experience which includes a live DJ playing music and hosting dance and karaoke contests all night long.
     
     If you want to join the Girl Scouts for some “reel” fun, tickets are still available. The cost for registered Girl Scouts is $20 per person and the cost for new members is $30 per person (includes the annual Girl Scout registration fee). Price includes a patch for all participants. Color coded wristbands, to delineate girl’s age for films, will be mailed in a confirmation packet after registering. Adults must register and accompany girls. Chaperones must be female, no males are allowed, with the exception of security and theater staff.
