Girl Scouts hire Steve Hope Release Date: 2/16/2006

Oakland Park, FL --- The Girl Scouts of Broward County, Inc. recently named Steve G. Hope to the executive staff as Vice President of Finance and Human Resources. Hope joins a team of 26 staff members at the local headquarters in Oakland Park.
Hope has more than 20 years of private sector accounting experience. For the past seven years Hope has been employed as Comptroller/Human Resource Manager at H.G. Management Services a management subsidiary of Home Gas Corp. and its affiliated companies. He is a Member of the Institute of Management Accountant and the Society of Human Resource Management; in addition, he holds certificates from Barry University and the National Safety Council in Human Resource and Benefit Management and Workplace Safety.
As Vice President of Finance and Human Resources with the Girl Scouts of Broward County, Hope will oversee all accounting operations, processes and systems. He will also be responsible for development of financial and accounting procedures as well as reporting on financial performance. In addition to his financial responsibilities, Mr. Hope will be responsible for all Human Resource and Benefit Administration duties.
